Happy New Year! The beginning of 2012 was a cakey one!! I had the urge to bake yesterday and that is what I did! It started with a new chocolate cake recipe using the best Belgian chocolate... smelled yummy whilst baking. Unfortunately I didn't get to ice it as it's better to let it rest before spitting it into layers. So today's job will be to fill and ice with a delicious caramel buttercream. Will post pics when it's done! But that wasn't all! I also baked some triple chocolate brownies... this recipe came from 'Fat Witches' recipe book. These are delicious but the chocolate chips sank to the bottom. I need to work out how to stop it happening... if anyone has any ideas please let me know, then I bake them again ;) Anyway on to filling the chocolate cake so I can take pics and enjoy a piece with my afternoon tea, yeah!!
